Deep Sadness weeps over my soul.

Yesterday I woke up from a nightmare.
It was so bad
filled with spiders
and the feeling
of impending doom
hung over me all day.
I kept thinking
something is not
right.
Today the news came
Such sadness
a
sorrow
my soul is killing me with pain.
Which path will this distress take?
The side of
life
or the side of
death?
I ache for this life not to be
taken
I weep for all the mistakes
we make.
I pray self punishment
will not win
this battle.
